About Gabriel
From forecasting skies to painting inner worlds.
Born in the shadow of the Carpathian forests, Gabriel Brănescu is a meteorologist who has read the sky for over three decades.
His journey has taken him from Transylvania to Canada, Australia and Antarctica - from clouds and extreme landscapes to the intimacy of canvas. Through richly textured paintings, he explores nature, memory, emotion and the quiet worlds within us.
